High Side Gondola Conversion
CTT-1-Gondola
Rocky Mountain Railway converts existing rail cars to other uses. Starting in the
winter of 2005, RMR proceeded to undertake the conversion
of a D&RG High Side Gondola from a bulk freight configuration to a tourist
passenger configuration. This
project was undertaken to provide the Colorado Historical Society with
a heavy car for end of train usage on the Georgetown Loop Railroad. This
area chronicles the ensuing events.
